The event, in aid of the Georgia Williams Trust, is being held at the Telford International Centre on August 1.

Georgia's mother, Lynnette Williams, of Wellington said: "It seems very apt that they are trying to promote women to be inspired and join in – exactly our motto, as it was all that Georgia stood for in life. Ironically she seems to have driven a whole community to strive together for this.

"Georgia was all for women being able to join in, and have no barriers in achieving anything they wanted to in life."

Organiser, Lucy Allan, Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate for Telford said: "Karren Brady is a real inspiration to businesswomen everywhere. I am particularly pleased that this event will benefit The Georgia Williams Trust."

Ms Brady will come to the town in August as part of her role as the Government's Small Business Ambassador.

Tickets cost £22 each and are available online at www.lucyallan.com/karren-brady, by e-mailing Janinehayter@btinternet.com, or calling (01952) 290039.
