Organisers of the Saturday night dances at the Navy Club in Newport had hoped to regularly attract up to 70 people but attendances have lately been down to about just 40.
Terry Wynn, entertainments manager of the club in Bellmans Yard, said: "We play all sorts of music so there is something for everyone.
"We also occasionally have live performances, like this Saturday when the duo Remix will be singing."
Entry to the dances is £3, payable on the door, or £2 for Navy Club members.
Further details are available from the club on 07772 611540.
