Wem road shuts for resurfacing
A busy road in a town centre will be closed for up to three days while improvements are carried out.

Mill Street in Wem, which is the main route into the town from the south, will close on August 10 to enable the road to be resurfaced. Depending on the weather, the road could be closed for up to three days while work is carried out.
Councillor Mandy Meakin, mayor of Wem, said: "Hopefully it won't have too much of an impact because I think they are doing some of the work at the weekend."
