Telford firefighters called out to incidents

Firefighters in Telford were kept busy by a series of incidents.

A car was severely damaged by fire at 12.45am this morning. A fire crew from Wellington was sent to Manse Road, in Hadley.

Two hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus were used to out the fire out just before 1am.

Firefighters from Tweedale were also called to a house in Sutton Hill, in Stanwyck, following a gas leak.

Transco was called to check gas supply but everything was given the all clear at 11pm last night.

Crews were called out to property fire in Brookside, Telford, just before 11pm. But the fire turned out to be a controlled burn in a residential garden.
