Free parking in Shrewsbury for bank holiday
A free parking scheme to get shoppers and visitors in to Shrewsbury over Bank Holidays has proved such a success that further car parks have been added for this weekend.

NCP, which manages two car parks in Wyle Cop, said both will be free this Sunday and Monday.
Free parking will be available on Sunday and Monday at the following car parks:
Abbey Foregate
Raven Meadows Multi Storey
Barker Street
St Austins Street
Bridge Street
St Julians Friars
Frankwell Main
The Gap
Frankwell Quay
The Tannery
Frankwell Riverside
Wyle Cop
Across the county, all Shropshire Council-run car parks are free on public holidays and bank holidays.
In Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Wem, Church Stretton and Much Wenlock parking is also free on Sundays.
