Girl, 11, attacked in broad daylight on Shropshire street
An 11-year-old girl was assaulted in a Shropshire street in broad daylight by a man who then ran away, covering his face with his T-shirt.
He came up behind the girl in Park Road, Whitchurch, at about 3.45pm on Saturday.
Police say the man, who was wearing a short sleeved grey T-shirt and blue jeans, approached her from the direction of Jubilee Park and ran away with his shirt pulled over his face.
Police have not given any details of the assault, although the girl was not injured.
DS John Weaver, of West Mercia Police, said: "Although we haven't got a good physical description of the male he did flee the scene in broad daylight with his T-shirt pulled over his face so we hope that someone will have seen something that may help with our enquiries."
