Cellar fire in Wem
Fire crews were called to tackle a fire in the cellar of a house.
Two fire crews from Wem and Prees went to the house on High Street in Wem at 2.45pm on Wednesday where they used a covering jet and hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
No-one was injured in the fire and crews had left the scene by 3.36pm.
Meanwhile, fire crews were sent to a house in Telford on the same day to reports of an oven fire.
Two fire engines from Telford Central and Tweedale went to the house on Bridge Street in Oakengates at 6.20pm but the fire was out when they arrived.
Firefighters ventilated the property before leaving.
Firefighters were also called to a 4x4 car which was alight in Telford.
One fire crew and a pump were sent from Minsterley and Wellington to the scene to put the flames out at 8.30pm.
