More than 17,000 Telford homes lose power
An investigation has been launched into the cause of a power cut which caused more than 17,000 properties in Telford to briefly lose their electricity supply.

A fault at Western Power's Distribution's sub station in Madeley caused 17,091 homes in south Telford, including those in Stirchley to lose power for around six minutes at 7.50am today.
At the moment, it is unknown what caused the major power loss.
A spokeswoman for Western Power Distribution said: "We don't know what caused it yet, that is still under investigation.
"Engineers are now on site trying to establish what happened and we should have more information later today.
"We're sorry for the inconvenience."
