Attacker stabs shop worker during theft
A man was stabbed in the shop where he was working. The attack happened in The Barometer Shop in New Street in Leominster at about 10.30am yesterday.
A man walked into the store and used a sharp instrument to stab an employee in the forearm before walking away with a number of items.
The victim was stabbed with a small tool which is used in the premises and related to the business, police said. The item has now been recovered and the victim suffered minor injuries and has now been released from hospital.
The offender is believed to be between 30 and 40-years-old, 5ft 8in tall with dark hair and stubble on his face.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket.
Police have appealed for help on the non-emergency 101 number quoting the incident reference 195s of September 22.
