Three men arrested after car hits woman in Ludlow
Three people have been arrested after a woman was injured when she was hit by a car in Ludlow. Police are investigating whether she was hit intentionally.
The woman was hit by the a car outside The Bull Hotel in Corve Street at about 12.15am on Saturday.
Police say that only moments earlier, the same car had collided with a parked car nearby.
A 22-year-old man from Halesowen, a 27-year-old man from Birmingham and a 19-year-old man from Birmingham have been arrested and released on bail, on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Detective Sergeant John Weaver said, "This is a serious incident in which the victim ended up in hospital. Three men have been arrested in connection with this, but we are keen to hear from anyone who can further assist with our enquiries. We are investigating whether the women was intentionally struck."
The car in question is a blue MG ZR. Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision with either the parked vehicle or the women to come forward by calling 101, quoting incident 12 of October 11.
