Shropshire man faces trial for £80,000 fraud

The trial of a Shropshire man alleged to have been involved in an £80,000 fraud relating to the Earl of Plymouth Estates in Shropshire is to be held in December.

Michael Woolcock, 49, is accused of abusing his position as a project manager with the Ludlow-based estate business and with Cymric Ltd of Hereford.

He has denied a charge of fraud involving a series of invoices for work or services totalling £80,930 and of false accounting involving financial spread-sheets.

Woolcock, of Vernold's Common, Craven Arms, was allowed bail.
