Girl, 17, attacked in alley near hospital

A teenage girl was pushed to the ground by a man in an attack outside a hospital.

The 17-year-old suffered minor injuries after being shoved to the ground by a man who was wearing camouflage trousers, a black jacket and a black hoodie.

The incident happened on a footpath alongside the back of Welshpool Hospital which leads to Borfa Green.

Sian George, Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman, said: "Police are appealing for information following an incident which occurred at approximately 5.50pm on Tuesday to the rear of Welshpool Hospital in the alleyway.

"A 17-year-old female attended hospital for treatment for what is believed to be minor injuries. The male is described slender and tall."
