Second charge in Telford murder case
A 38-year-old woman has become the second person to be charged in connection with the murder of 59-year-old Davinia Loynton, whose body was found at a flat in Telford.
Emma Louise Lucas, from Stafford, has been charged with assisting an offender and acquiring criminal property.
Lucas was arrested following the incident and had been bailed until yesterday. She is due to attend Telford Magistrates Court on December 8.
Last week, police said they were taking no further action against a 21-year-old man, a 50-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman who were questioned over the murder in Telford.
Kevin Hyden, 34, of Glebe Street, Wellington, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody.
Hyden is expected to enter a plea when he appears at Stafford Crown Court on December 22.
Ms Loynton, affectionately known by family as Dink, was found dead in a flat in St John Street in Wellington, on September 22.
