Lucky escape after wheelie bin on fire near Telford flats
A fire in a wheelie bin placed in garages below a block of Telford flats where people were sleeping could have been "a lot more serious", a fireman has warned.

Crews from Tweedale were called to a blaze on parkland behind Meadowlea flats, off Park Avenue, in Madeley, just after midnight yesterday.
While tackling the fire, they also became aware of the wheelie bin blaze.
Fire crime officer Derek Taylor, from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, warned if they had happened a few hours later with no one around, residents might not have been so lucky.
