Man lost two teeth in Telford graveyard brawl, court told
A man had two teeth kicked out during a brawl in a graveyard in Telford, a court was told.
Kevin Smith, 35, of Spout Way, Malinslee, denied one charge of assault by beating and one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared at Telford Magistrates Court on Monday.
The offences related to a dispute that started in the Church Wicketts pub in Dawley on June 21 last year, which led to a fight in a nearby graveyard where two men were beaten by two others.
Prosecuting, Mrs Kate Price said that one of the victims had lost two front teeth during the attack. Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case will be heard at Shrewsbury Crown Court on March 9.
Smith was bailed on condition that he did not contact the victims or enter the Church Wicketts pub.
