Visitors to the Wellbeing and Healthy Living Fair at the town hall could also sample healthy drinks from a juice bar

Short talks and demonstrations were held throughout Saturday's event, where stalls were selling goodies including aloe vera products and offering information about techniques, such as Bowen Therapy.

The next event in the town hall is on Saturday and will see the return of the B C Flea and Antiques Market, which will then run on the first Saturday of every month.

And during the hall's monthly workshop, on Monday, visitors can learn how to make corn dollies when Bernard Edwards reveals the secrets of this county pastime.

Entry will cost £5.

A charity tea dance will also be held in the town hall on February 15, with music supplied the swing band Anything Goes.

Tickets can be bought from the hall any time Thursday to Saturday, from 10.30am to 3pm.
