Cash and jewellery stolen after break-in at Wem

Cash and jewellery have been stolen after a break-in at a home in Wem in the middle of the afternoon.

West Mercia Police is appealing to the community for information following a burglary at the home on Fismes Way.

The burglary happened between 12.45pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 4.

A police spokesman: "The offender forced entry to property and stole cash and various jewellery items."

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Proactive CID at Shrewsbury Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 346S of February 4.
