Reward offered after air gun and bike stolen near Oswestry

Air gun and mountain bike stolen after outbuildings raided at a home near Oswestry.

West Mercia Police is appealing to the Gobowen and Oswestry community for information following a burglary at a home on Hammonds Place, Gobowen.

The missing bike

The burglary happened between 11am on Thursday, February 5 and 5am on Friday, February 6, when the offender or offenders forced entry into two outbuildings.

A specialized Big Hit FSR 3 mountain bike and an air rifle were stolen from the address.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 46 of February 6.

A police spokesman said: "The victim is offering a cash reward of £500 for any information leading to the recovery of the mountain bike."
