Shropshire police officer to stand trial on dangerous driving charge
A police officer from Shropshire who is alleged to have crashed a patrol car and struck two parked vehicles has denied a dangerous driving charge.

Michael Laidlaw of North Wales Police admitted an alternative charge of careless driving.
But the prosecution will proceed to trial on the dangerous driving charge.
The case arises from a crash on the morning of November 11 at Rhos, near Wrexham.
Laidlaw, 52, of Bayston Hill, near Shrewsbury, appeared at Mold Crown Court yesterday for a plea and directions hearing.
Judge Niclas Parry rebailed him pending trial on July 16.
