Elderly pedestrian injured in Ellesmere collision
An elderly pedestrian suffered hip injuries in a collision with a car in Ellesmere today.

Emergency services were called to the B5068 Trimpley Street at about 2.20pm.
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Amublance Service said: "We were called to an accident involving a car and pedestrian.
"The elderly female patient managed to get herself up and has hip pains.
"A rapid response vehicle attended the scene."
The road was been closed in both directions between the A495 Victoria Street junction and the Stanham Drive junction, with police directing traffic.
