Shropshire rail delays after lorry hits bridge
Rail passengers travelling between Shrewsbury and Wellington faced 10 minute delays today after a lorry struck a bridge.

The incident took place in Wellington at around 12.48pm.
British Transport Police were notified of the collision and they alerted Network Rail who dispatched engineers to assess the safety of the bridge.
Passengers faced 10 minute delays until the bridge was declared safe at around 1.48pm.
