Mother of missing Shropshire teenager speaks of distress
The mother of missing teenager Bonnie Clarke has spoken of distress as 11 days have gone by without a sighting of the 15-year-old.
Caroline Jones, who lives in Brighton, said she had last gone to visit her daughter in Bishop's Castle on January 29, but the two spoke on the phone three or four times a week.
Now almost two weeks since Bonnie disappeared during a visit to the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham, Ms Jones said she did not know how much longer she could cope, and just wanted to know her daughter was alive.
She said: "I've heard nothing, that's the problem. There have been no sightings of her at all and I'm thinking the worst."
Bonnie, who is also know as Keisha Jones, went missing from the Sea Life centre in Brindley Place at about 3.20pm on February 15. She was later seen on CCTV entering Birmingham New Street Station alone, but then leaving again, without catching a train.
Ms Jones said Bonnie had been prone to running away since about the age of nine years old, but had recently appeared settled at her new home in Bishop's Castle, where she had lived for about three months.
"She seemed happy, she's been stable where she's been staying, this is a bit out of the blue now," she said.
She said Bonnie had ties to both north and south Wales as well as the Midlands and Brighton.
"Bonnie can be quite unpredictable so she still could be in the Birmingham area or she could be anywhere in between.
"She could be anywhere in the UK, that's the way I feel right now - I really don't know.
"If we'd had some sort of sighting, anything, we'd be checking that area ourselves but as it is there are a lot of miles in between where I am, where (she was) the last time she was seen and where she possibly could be," she said.
"I love her, I miss her and I just want a cwtch (cuddle) - I just need to know she's safe. I want to know she's alive. I'm running on empty to be honest, I don't know how much longer I can cope."
Bonnie is described as white, slim, and around 5 foot 10 inches tall, with brown hair usually worn long or in a ponytail.
She speaks in a broad South Wales accent, and was last seen wearing a dark brown leather "bomber" jacket with fur around the hood, pale blue skinny jeans and white Adidas trainers.
