West Mercia Police are appealing for information to locate Samuel Walker, known as "Sam", who is originally from Hereford, but have warned the public not to approach him.

Walker, who was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for seven years, is wanted for what police say is a breach of the notification requirements of his sexual offences prevention order.

A spokesman said Walker had failed to abide by the terms of his licence after being released in January 2015.

He was imprisoned for a previous failure to comply in December 2014.

Walker is described as white, of a medium build and 5ft 9ins tall. His hair might now be slightly longer than in a picture released by the police.

Detective Constable Mel Reynolds said: "We have been carrying out searches in the area but would appreciate the public's help in tracing Samuel Walker.

"Walker has strong links to Leominster and it is believed he is still in the area.

"We are keen to trace Walker as soon as possible and would ask the public not to approach him if they see him, but to call police."
