Snapshot of owl focused on its prey captured by Star reader
This Eagle Owl looks focused on his prey as he comes into land spread winged.
This picture was captured by Shrewsbury amateur photographer Steve Barber, 54, at the Barn Owl Centre in Gloucester, and sent it in to us through our "Birds of a Feather" Star Witness gallery. Mr Barber, who works at the Ketley Recycling Centre, recently auctioned a couple of his pictures to help with the Georgia Williams fund.
He said: "I like to take wildlife pictures and really enjoy managing to get pictures that look like this.
"On the day I was on a photographic workshop so I had the camera at the ready waiting to get a shot like this when the chance came along."
