Mid Wales man charged with raping girl aged 13
A man has appeared in court charged with a string of sexual offences involving a teenage girl.

Kirk Mark Tranchard, of Tan y Graig, Montgomery, faces three charges of rape of a girl under 13, and five charges of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between March 2008 and March 2012, and all involve the same complainant.
Tranchard, 24, gave no indication of plea during his appearance at Welshpool Magistrates Court yesterday and the case was committed to the crown court.
He was given bail and will next appear at Mold Crown Court on March 27.
