Now that's Smooth! A wedding video like you've never seen before
He went viral on the internet after downing a pint of Guinness in his underpants while walking through Shrewsbury town centre.
Now Andrew Thomas is set to take the internet by storm once again by showing his romantic side.
Mr Thomas, who is known as Smooth to his friends in Welshpool, gained notoriety last year when he drank a pint dressed in rugby boots and socks, headgear and pants on Pride Hill as part of the "neknominate" craze.
The video inspired Mr Thomas, a 35-year-old property developer, to travel the country revisiting places he had previously been with his bride Lib Edwards, 32, a kitchen designer - to film a special message to be shown on their wedding day in Thailand.
The video features him recreating photographs of the couple, with him holding a sign saying "I love you Lib."
The six-minute video took six months to make and involved thousands of miles of travel as well as enlisting the help from friends travelling in New Zealand.
His bride knew nothing about his travels, despite him recreating the Shrewsbury scene - only this time holding the sign rather than a pint.
Mr Thomas said he prefers to give gifts that provide a special memory, so spent half a year travelling the country to come up with the video.
He said: "Lib and I differ in our preference on gifts for each other.
"I prefer an experience that creates a memory where Lib prefers something precious to keep.
"I decided it had to be both, so I gave her a picture frame. I then played the video at our wedding reception to tell its story."
Mr Thomas said his new bride was so pleased with the gift that he wanted to share it with the public.
He said: "I promised to go public with it after our wedding if Lib gave the okay which she has so I hope people have as much fun watching it as I had making it.
"I know I am very non-public with my love for Lib and I am not the most romantic person, but as it was our wedding day I decided it was time to announce to her and the world how much I love her in the most public way I could and probably the way I know best."
The video shows Mr Thomas visiting a whole host of tourist attractions and cities including Powis Castle, London, Gretna, Cardiff, Chester, North Wales, the Lake District and the Somerset coast.
He even strips off and goes for a swim in the sea in Fairbourne, North Wales.
He said: "It was the middle of January when I filmed that scene and I can honestly say that it was absolutely freezing."
He left the new scene in Shrewsbury until last - in case he was spotted by friends or neighbours.
He said: "The odd thing is, the scene we shot in Shrewsbury was exactly one year to the day and time that I did the neknomination video so it was sort of an anniversary.
"We had to leave filming that scene until the end just in case anyone we knew caught sight of me or got pictures and posted them on the internet as we wanted to keep it a secret as long as possible.
"That was filmed on February 7 and we flew out to Thailand for the wedding ceremony on February 10 and it all turned out well."
Mr Thomas managed to get on the plane with both the video and frame under wraps and both came as a complete surprise on the day.
"She never knew what was going on and the video and frame I gave her was well received at the wedding," he said.
Mr Thomas added: "I mostly want to thank Thomas Edwards who I am proud to call my brother. He helped me every step of the way all around the country, giving up weekends and evenings for the past six months and poured his heart and soul into this project."
