Cop this: Austin Powers antics for Georgia (and yes, the cop is a real one)
Forget the Harlem Shake – it's all about the Austin Powers dance in Shropshire.
It's two and a half minutes of bright clothes and smooth moves as students and a police officer get groovy to the theme music from the hit film franchise.
And more than 800 people have already viewed it on YouTube since it was aired on Friday.
It took place as part of a fundraising day in memory of Shropshire teenager Georgia Williams at New College Telford, where she attended.
The event was based on Georgia's bucket list, which included learning the Austin Powers dance and appearing in a music video. So students from the Performing Arts course decided to combine the two and the rest was history.
The music video begins with a group of students standing around with police officer Carl Morgan before an Austin Powers lookalike, wearing a purple suit and wig, starts to dance and everyone else – including the officer from Wellington Police Station – joins in.
By the end of the song, more and more people have joined in the dance and the crowds have gathered round to watch.
Georgia's mother Lynnette said: "The dance and video is absolutely fantastic. There was so much going on during the day and it raised more than £1,000. I was there watching the dance and really wanted to join in. Thank you to everyone for helping us to raise funds for a really good cause."
