Shropshire hospitals trust rated as 'one of the best'
The trust which runs Shropshire's two acute hospitals has been declared as one of the top performers in the country for the third year in a row.

Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust has been named as a CHKS Top 40 Hospitals for 2015, an accolade awarded to the 40 top performing CHKS client trusts.
The award is one of several awards that are part of the CHKS Top Hospitals programme.
It is based on the evaluation of 22 key performance indicators covering safety, clinical effectiveness, health outcomes, efficiency, patient experience and quality of care.
The award was collected at a ceremony in London by Dr Edwin Borman, medical director at SaTH.
Dr Borman said: "Our trust and all the staff who work here are committed to providing the highest achievable quality of care for all of our patients.
"It is a great honour to have that recognised by CHKS, as one of the top 40 acute trusts in the UK, for the third year in a row.
"This achievement is a real tribute to the pride and passion shown by our staff in providing great care for our patients and their families."
The CHKS Top Hospitals programme awards, which took place on Tuesday (MAY 19), were attended by more than 200 guests, including leaders from across the healthcare sector such as NHS England, Monitor, and the NHS Trust Development Authority.
Jason Harries, managing director at CHKS, who presented Dr Borman with the award, said: "These awards recognise outstanding performance in those areas which we believe are critical to delivering good patient care. We are delighted that Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is one of our top hospitals."
As well as national awards for patient safety, quality of care and data quality, CHKS celebrates excellence among its clients across the UK.
