Rings worth £100 stolen from Newport charity shop

Two rings, worth £100, have been stolen from a charity shop in Shropshire.

The rings were taken from the Oxfam shop in Upper Bar, Newport.
One of the volunteers noticed the rings had gone missing when the box they were kept in was found empty in the cabinet.
At first they thought they may have sold them, but after further investigation they discovered they had been taken.
Rosie Wilcox, a volunteer at the shop, said: "I’m sure you can appreciate how disheartening it is to have two items of jewellery stolen from the cabinet.
"To steal from anywhere is bad enough but from a charity shop is just despicable.
"Perhaps you know someone who’s acquired some new unusual pieces of jewellery, if so could you enquire where they purchased them.
"It would be so nice if both items were returned to us. You know who you are, so do the right thing.
"They could be popped in an envelope and posted anonymously through our letter box when the shop is closed. No questions need be asked and your conscience would be clear."
It is believed the rings were taken on Saturday, May 23.
