Car crashes through hedge in Newport
A car crashed into a hedge after leaving the road near Newport this afternoon.

The Ford left the A458 at Newport, just next to the new Aldi store which is being built.
The driver, believed to be in his 70s, suffered cuts to his head and his car was recovered.
He refused hospital treatment and was treated by paramedics at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent a community first responder and an ambulance crew to the accident, when it was called at 1.35pm today.
