Man has lucky escape after getting impaled on fence

A man had a lucky escape after he became impaled on a fence in Telford, with his clothes taking all of the damage.

The man was not badly injured, as it was his clothes that suffered the most damage.

A fire crew from Wellington along with an ambulance were at the scene in Randlay just before 10am this morning, where paramedics were able to free the man.

Then an hour later the crew from Wellington and paramedics helped a man who had got himself stuck in a fence in Donnington.

This happened at 11.26 on School Road. The man involved was not badly injured.
