Man attacked in the street in Newport
A man in his 20s was attacked after he was approached by another man in a Newport street.

The assault happened near the NatWest Bank in High Street.
The attacker, believed to be in his 40s, is said to have got out of a red car before assaulting the man.
He then got back into his car and drove off, and the victim had left the scene by the time police arrived minutes later.
Officers are keen to locate to the victim as he they believe he may have vital information to help them catch the attacker.
The attack happened last night at 5.40pm. The victim is described as white, with long hair. The attacker is believed to be white, with a sunburnt face.
