Electrical firm to close Whitchurch branch
A family-run business established more than 30 years ago is closing one of its branches.
Electrical retailer Princes TV has announced it is closing its shop in Whitchurch, which has been in the town for about 20 years. Bosses say the move will allow them to invest in both their Wem and Prees premises as well as developing their online services.
Dennis Prince, the firm's proprietor, said: "Princes are keen to maintain a high street presence long term and also want to respond to the changing shopping habits of our customers by offering more choice in store and via the web.
"This investment will consolidate our resources so we will be able to continue to provide the high level of personal and professional services that our customers have come to expect from us."
