Video and pictures: Crowd all revved up at Market Drayton classic car meet
Engines were revved as petrol heads and motoring enthusiasts flocked to a classic car night with hundreds of iconic engines on display.
More than 400 cars descended on the Wharf Tavern in Goldstone near Market Drayton for the 21st annual meet up.
Triumphs, MGs, Austin Healey's, Morgan's and TVRs were just some of the vehicles on show.
Simon Beresford, who organised the event with the Shropshire group of the TR register said: "It went really very well.
"Everyone came along and parked up and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it.
"We couldn't count them all because we had to use two overflow car parks, but we think there were between 400 and 500 classic and sports and vintage cars there altogether.
"We even had a £1million Ferrari on the gate which was fantastic. And we had about 80 or 90 Triumphs there."
The get-together, known as the Wharf Classic Car Night, sees enthusiasts from north Shropshire, Cheshire and north Staffordshire classic car at the event which Mr Beresford said would continue each year.
He said: "People all voted for their favourite car of the night and the winner was the Mercedes 190 SL, which was a 1957 car.
"It was a really fantastic car. I think personally I would have gone for the Ferrari, it was very nice indeed.
"We also had a Bentley there owned by Malcolm Campbell, the land speed record setter, which was fantastic."
The evening also raised £200 for a local charity, which has not yet been decided. The event was supported by the Market Drayton Air Cadets, who helped with car parking throughout the night.
Mr Beresford said: "It was a real success and it will definitely happen again each year.
"It was our 21st and we were very pleased with how it all went."
