The sound of engines filled a castle's grounds for an annual three-day motoring festival which attracted thousands of petrol heads.
Rally cars, sports cars and motorcycles were on show at Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, held at Cholmondeley Castle, near Whitchurch.
Visitors to the show yesterday were also treated to a full display from a Vulcan bomber on what organisers said was its last public appearance over Cheshire. It was a welcome treat for festival fans, who had initially been told to expect a flypast.
The Red Bull Matadors aerobatic team also wowed crowds at the show yesterday.
The RAF Typhoon display team and BAC Strikemaster also took to the skies.
High-performance cars raced round the track while jet ski championships were held on the lake on the opening day of the show on Friday.
Other attractions over the weekend included drag car and bike demonstrations and stunts from trials bike legend Dougie Lampkin. James Hall, event director, said: "It was the best show content we've ever had and some excellent, nail-biting action on track.
"The Lotus concours was a particular highlight, with some truly special models on display. Then we had a high-standard display of US muscle cars and a celebration of 1980s supercars."
The first day of the eighth annual festival saw Group B Rally cars, F1 racers and powerful motorcycles battle it out on the track to get the best possible time.
The Force PC driven by Gary Thomas topped the timesheet with a time of 59.96 seconds, while the Husaberg ridden by Christian Iddon achieved the fastest two-wheel time of 60.67 seconds.
In the Lotus display, a Lotus Carlton owned by Phillip Burton was named as the best presented, while the best of show award was handed to a Lotus Elan BRM, owned by Martin Canning.
Musical entertainment was held each night. The first evening saw Tina Turner tribute act Simply The Best, before the RPJ band performed rock and pop classics.
On the lake, some of the best riders in the world began competing in the third round of the British jet ski championships.
There were also flyboard and hoverboard displays and rib rides over the weekend.
The festival has traditionally attracted big names from the celebrity world and top music acts. Last year Status Quo performed at the show's launch.
Other celebrities to have appeared include former World Superbike champion James Toseland, who performed as part of his new career as a rock star.
Radio DJ and TV personality Chris Evans has also used the extensive grounds of Cholmondeley Castle to hold his own charity car festivals.
