Heat from rally car exhaust starts vehicle fire in Wem
Heat from the exhaust of a rally car saw the vehicle go up in flames while sat in a barn.

Firefighters were called to a barn in Loppington, near Wem shortly before 7pm this evening when the car set light.
The whole of the car was on fire when when crews arrived but the barn was unaffected.
Two fire crews were sent from Baschurch and Wem stations and firefighters used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to put out the blaze.
The fire was out by 7.15pm.
