Firefighters had to deal with two house fires today as well as part of a plant display and undergrowth which had set light.

Published
The first blaze began at about 2.50pm, when a square metre of undergrowth and decorative bark had set light in a plant display near St Quentin Gate roundabout in Telford.
One crew from Telford Central was called to the fire and used a hose reel jet to extinguish it. It was out by 3pm.
At about 5pm a fire broke out in a kitchen in Brook View, Shifnal.
Two crews from Telford Central used breathing apparatus, a covering jet, a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the flames.
Shortly afterwards at 5.10pm, two crews from Tweedale and Wellington were sent to deal with another property fire in Bishopdale.
Both fires were out by 5.30pm.
