Six casualties after crash on A41 in Shropshire

Two men were taken to hospital following a three car pile up on the A41 in Shropshire which six people were injured.

Four other people were treated for minor injuries at the scene in Tong but did not require hospital treatment.

The two men who did need hospital treatment were taken as a precaution, as they only suffered minor injures.

The cars involved in the collision were a red Vauxhall, a blue Citroen and a gold Jaguar.

The accident happened at about 2pm on Stanton Road near The Bell Inn pub.

Motorists faced long delays while the emergency were at the scene, as the road was blocked both ways for about 90 minutes.

The road has now reopened.
