Signal problems cause train delays between Shrewsbury and Crewe
Trains between Shrewsbury and Crewe were subject to delays earlier today as a result of signalling problems between Prees and Wem.

Trains had to run at reduced speed and this brought disruption on all routes causing trains to run 20 minutes behind schedule.
A spokesperson for Arriva Trains said: "Certain services were delayed but the timetable returned to normal by mid morning.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused."
