The man suffered a heart-related problem on the court at Oakengates Leisure Centre in Telford, which caused him to stop breathing and start to turn blue.

He was resuscitated by workers Dave Tatton and Robin Corns using a defibrillator and CPR. Ambulance staff said that the prompt actions of the centre staff probably saved the man's life. The man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital and is said to be recovering.
