Burst water main causes supply problems in Shrewsbury
A burst water pipe in Shrewsbury is caused supply issues to people living in Shrewsbury today.
Severn Trent Water said it discovered a burst water pipe on Roman Road which may be causing water supplies to be off or at low pressure for some of our customers in Shrewsbury.
A spokesman said: "Our teams are on site and will work around the clock to get this pipe fixed and everything back to normal as quickly as possible.
"We have moved water around from other areas which will gradually restore supply to most customers. We also have tankers on route to return supplies to those customer still off supply."
"We know how difficult it is to have no water, especially on Saturday and we're sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing. We'd like to reassure our customers that we're doing everything we can to get the water supplies back on as soon as we can."
