Parked car blocks fire engine in Wellington
Police today issued a warning to motorists after a fire engine and and a refuse truck were blocked access by a car parked on double yellow lines.

The incident took place on Market Square this morning and the vehicle was issued with a fixed penalty notice.
Officers of Wellington Safer Neighbourhood Team released the photo and urged people to think before they park.
A spokesman said: "Think about where your parking. Fire and refuse truck obstructed in Wellington today. Enforcement complete."
The fire engine was not on a 999 call at the time.
