I'm in – Sarah's Dragon's Den joy
A company that came out of the Dragon's Den with a £40,000 investment say they are hoping to crack America.
Sarah Reast and Phil Wilson from Timberkits, based in Llanbrynmair, near Machynlleth, appeared on the BBC Two Show on Sunday.
They managed to secure the money from f retail entrepreneur Touker Suleyman – in return for 30 per cent of the business.
The company makes fun mechanical wooden models – anything from a dragon or monkey to a golfer or a guitarist.
On the show, the business partners, who took over the running of the company from Mrs Reast's parents in 2012, said they were hoping to secure £25,000 for 15 per cent of the business.
But they agreed to the proposal from Mr Suleyman after admitting it was too good an opportunity to miss.
And now Mrs Reast says she is enjoying drawing on Mr Suleyman's expertise .
She said: "It was an amazing experience. We were in the den for an hour and it is as terrifying as it looks on television.
"It looks like there's a lot of tension in the den, but they were all really interested in what we had on offer and we were delighted to team up with Touker."
