Mid Wales care firm seeking 50 new members of staff for area

A care provider in Mid Wales says it has 50 jobs on offer in the area.

Abacare, which has offices in Newtown, said it looked for the workers to fill roles in Newtown, Welshpool, Llandrindod Wells and Brecon, as well as surrounding villages.

The company is currently working to provide care on behalf of Powys Council.

Head of HR Dawn Williams said: "We can offer full and part time contracts as well as mileage and travel time. She added: "Being reliable is key to this role as people will be looking after the needs of vulnerable adults. Applicants also need to be even tempered and caring and must enjoy making a positive difference to people's lives.
