Shrewsbury gears up for flower show traffic
Visitors to Shrewsbury Flower Show can take advantage of a specially laid-on bus service.

Meanwhile car parks in Frankwell will be offering spaces just for visitors to the show and there will be temporary car parks at Burrs Field and the Shropshire County Show Ground.
Motorists are advised to use one of these designated flower show car parks by following the "AA – Flower Show" direction signs.
The Shropshire County Show Ground car park will have a frequent free shuttle bus service direct to and from the showground. Low-floored buses will be available for visitors in wheelchairs or with pushchairs.
Each of the flower show car parks will be open from 9am on Friday and Saturday, and the cost will be £4.50 per car all day. There will be sufficient car parking for all cars visiting the show.
Parking for non-flower show cars will be available at Frankwell sports field before 9am, at a cost of just £2 all day.
St Julian's Friars car park will not be open for public car parking on either Friday or Saturday.
Frankwell main car park is the only coach park available this year, with capacity for up to 200 coaches. Parking is free.
Those visiting the town with an HGV or a non-flower show coach should use Abbey Foregate car park, although a limited number of spaces will be available.
A fleet of mobility buses will be operating a shuttle service from Frankwell main car park/coach park for people in wheelchairs, and those who may have difficulty walking, plus their carers. This service will be available between the hours of 9.30am and 7.30pm.
People visiting the town centre to shop or work are asked to use the Park & Ride service, which will be dedicated to the non-flower show car park users who wish to avoid flower show traffic.
This service will run approximately every 10 minutes from 7.30am on the Friday and from 8am on the Saturday, with the last bus leaving the town centre at 6.45pm.
A number of roads in the area will be closed for the duration of the show.
