Three arrests in Telford drugs raid
Three people have been arrested after cannabis and class A drugs were found at a house in Telford.
Police raided the property in Coronation Drive, Donnington, after a drugs warrant was issued yesterday morning.
A 45-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were immediately arrested and taken to Malinsgate police station after cannabis worth up to £1,500 was seized.
Further searches of the property revealed other items. Suspected class A and B drugs were found.
Police then attended another address in Donnington and arrested a 19-year-old man.
All three people remain in custody.
Constable Nikki Scott, West Mercia Police's safer neighbourhood officer for Donnington who led the raid, said: "Yet again we are grateful to the community who have come forward with information."
