Firefighters respond to 999 calls after flames spotted in Shrewsbury
Worried passers-by rang 999 when they saw flames at Berwick Wharf in Shrewsbury today.

Firefighters from the town responded to the emergency calls which came in at 10.50am.
When a crew arrived at the scheme they discovered that the fire was actually controlled burning being carried out by a farmer.
