Tributes paid to Welshpool teenager killed in car crash
A teenage girl who died in a car crash will be "greatly missed", according to her devastated sister.
Isobelle Woodall will "forever be alive" in the hearts of her family, her sister Emily said in a tribute on Facebook. Further tributes have also been made on social media by friends.
Isobelle, 19, was travelling with her boyfriend Steven as a passenger in a black Peugeot 206 which was in collision with a white Ford Focus ST.
Isobelle, from Belan, near Welshpool, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Central Parkway in Wigan, Greater Manchester, at about 9.15pm on Sunday.
Emily said: "As the car crashed Isobelle was taken from us too soon and was killed on impact.
"There is no doubt that Isobelle will be greatly missed in all our lives. I am sure she will be looking down on us.
"Even though she is no longer here with us she will forever be alive in our hearts."
Shona Broome said: "My thoughts are with you and your family Emily, she was a lovely girl and one of my first friends in the world! She will be missed by many and will forever be in our hearts."
Diane Jones added: "Heartbreaking. Just devastating news, Izzy was such a beautiful girl. I can't believe it."
Isobelle worked for Manor Adventure, an outdoor pursuits company based in Craven Arms. Bosses at the company said they had no comment to make.
The Peugeot driver, a 27-year-old man, suffered serious head injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 27-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Ford also sustained serious injuries, including a fractured pelvis.
