Shropshire firefighters rescue cow stuck in ditch

Shropshire firefighters came to the rescue of a cow which became stuck in a ditch.

Three fire engines, including animal rescue specialists from Wellington Fire Station and crews from Shrewsbury, were called out at about 11.30am to help the distressed animal in Myddle, near Wem. A vet was also at the scene.

Crews spent more than an hour and a half rescuing the cow from the ditch and left just before 1pm.
