Shrewsbury station closed after man killed
A man has died after being hit by a train at Shrewsbury railway station

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the station by paramedics shortly after 5.30pm on Friday.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "We were called to Shrewsbury railway station at 5.27pm following reports of a man being struck by a train.
"Officers are currently working to identify the man and identify his family. The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
The station closed from around 5.30pm while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Services resumed at around 6.35pm, but delays continued late into the evening.
Trains were disrupted throughout Shropshire and the West Midlands as a result of the incident.
